Together, We Are Stronger

Uniting Ghanaians in Switzerland to preserve our culture, support our people, and grow our community.

Who We Are

The Ghanaian United Association (GUA), founded in 1989 in Schönwerd, Switzerland, is a vibrant community of Ghanaians living in Switzerland. As a non-political, non-religious, and non-tribal association, we support cultural preservation, unity, integration, and social empowerment through events, outreach, and shared services.

Our Mission

As a non-political, non-religious, and non-tribal association, we provide spaces for connection, promote social and educational activities, preserve Ghanaian culture in Switzerland, support community development in Ghana, and act as brothers and sisters keepers.

Our Vision

A united Ghanaian diaspora that thrives through connection, culture, and collaboration with Swiss society.
